ETwinning helps to integrate in-school and outside-school learning as well as gives learners opportunities to develop a broad range of competences: linguistic, intercultural and IT. Their motivation to learn languages increases. Learning becomes more individualized and emotionally involving. Working in international groups creates many occasions for exchanging opinions.
Children learn how to identify cultural similarities and diferences and accept both of them in a non-judgmental way. Young people become 'global citizens', are open and tolerant towards other cultures. ETwinning helps to develop media competence and critical reading. It opens door to education of the future: international, collaborative, personalized and integrated.

Our students take part in eTwinning projects.
This is one of them, realized in 2018/2019
Reading is one of those skills that may influence our life. It helps us develop vocabulary, construct meaning and understand the world around us and our inner self. While reading we expose ourselves to new worlds and ideas, to different cultures and perspectives. A good reader will communicate better, be more imaginative and more likely to understand the others.
With this project we want students to overcome their dislike of reading, their fear of expressing themselves, the lack of vocabulary and fluency, their claims that literature is beyond their understanding.
The goal of our project is to motivate students to read by bringing some fun to it. We want them to find the pleasure of reading a good story or poem and work on it developing their creativity, their speaking and writing skills.

WISE WORDS project we work on in 2019/2020
The ability to communicate effectively is an essential skill. Being able to express one’s opinion in writing or speaking, to find the best arguments and evidence to support them, to structure one’s line of thought and present a logical, well-constructed, vocabulary-rich and persuasive text / speech is paramount in many situations. The ability to speak in public and debate can make a difference in life.
The goal of our eTwinning project is to encourage students to speak, to become more autonomous and think critically about the world around them. They will learn how to write and deliver a speech and how to participate effectively in a debate. We want students to become more confident and bold, to develop the ability to express themselves, to develop a sense of empowerment. We hope our project will contribute to make our students citizens who can reason, articulate, listen, respond, lead and ultimately respect the others.

Our project has been awarded in Portugal and Poland as well as got four national and European Quality Labels.
From eTwinning to Erasmus+
A good partnership is the base of every successful project. This is why we continue our international collaboration with partners who we worked collaboratively on fruitful eTwinning projects in the past. We applied together successfully for the next Erasmus+ project FEEL – Future Empowered European Leaders (2020 – 2023). Oxford-style debates play a key role in our project. That way we intend to promote this powerful educational strategy to enhance students’ critical thinking, communication and collaborative skills.
