Flipped Classroom
3-7/12/2018 - Prague
ITC International
We were exposed to the idea of Flipped Classroom, which brings an innovative shift of learning in which home activity is prior to classroom sessions.
We learnt how to prepare online presentations connected with tasks for students to do at home.
We were taught how to use online tools, such as Edpuzzle, Kahoot, QR Code Generator.
We also learnt how to prepare lessons where students present what they learnt before the lesson. We can use online tools like Makebeliefscomix or applications like I-nigma here.
All the activities seem to be very useful and we hope to use them during our lessons in order to make them more attractive to students.
We are planning to organise a training session for other teachers of our school in order to familiarise them with this new method of teaching. We are going to show them some very useful tools, mentioned above, which can be very helpful in preparing flipped lessons.
We are also going to invite our colleagues to an open lesson and give them the opportunity to observe how Flipped Classroom works.
